The Role of Glutathione and Oxidative Stress in Viruses, and in the Context of Covid-19
French virologist Luc Montagnier, author of “Oxidative Stress in Cancer, AIDS, and Neurodegenerative Diseases” won the Nobel Prize for discovering the HIV virus. He and Pingfan Rao, PhD discuss “the cure” for not only the Coronavirus, but ALL VIRUSES in a pretty interesting video.
In the video, Montagnier says, “The fundamental problem of this specific virus and all other viruses is OXIDATIVE STRESS. You need an intervention on a cellular level. Our cells have been weakened because of many environmental factors and this produces oxidative stress. Eliminating or lowering oxidative stress is the key factor to combatting these viruses and in turn will boost our immune system.”
They go on to say that they are working to create an enzyme that we can inject into our cells to lower oxidative stress. But given the importance they give to lowering oxidative stress to combat viruses like Covid-19, I’m not waiting around and neither should anybody else. We’re at war with this enemy and I’m grateful our family has been combating oxidative stress now for almost a year… without needing an injection.
A Master ANTI-oxidant
Our bodies reduce oxidative stress naturally through the production of antioxidants. You’re likely familiar with the concept of antioxidants in foods like blueberries, or grapes, or vitamin C, vitamin E and others. One of the body’s most powerful antioxidants is glutathione. In fact, it’s so important, it’s been called the body’s “Master Antioxidant” and also the “Mother of all Antioxidants”.
Glutathione is manufactured in nearly every one of our trillions of cells, and the level of glutathione in our cells is predictive of how long we will live.
